Thailand as a Global Safe Haven for Wellness Living

14 May 2026 | Executive Session for National Defence College of Thailand (NDC) Class 68

As health and quality of life become increasingly recognized as strategic drivers of the future economy, Thailand is emerging as one of the world’s most promising destinations for trusted healthcare and wellness living.

Bumrungrad International Hospital led by Dr. Artirat Charukitpipat, together with VitalLife Scientific Wellness Center led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Polakit Teekakirikul, alongside Dr. Wanviput Sanphasitvong, were honored to welcome participants from the National Defence College of Thailand (NDC) Class 68 and distinguished guests from across sectors for an executive dialogue under the theme:
“Thailand as a Global Safe Haven for Wellness Living.”

The session brought together leaders from the public sector, academia, and private industry to exchange perspectives on the future of Healthcare, Wellness, and the Longevity Economy, while exploring Thailand’s potential to become a globally trusted hub for preventive health and sustainable well-being.

The dialogue reflected a growing global shift in which preventive healthcare, longevity-focused innovation, and personalized wellness are becoming integral pillars of economic and societal development.

Beyond the executive discussion, participants also experienced the concept of Scientific Wellness and Personalized Preventive Care — approaches that are increasingly shaping Thailand’s position as a leading global wellness destination.
